This picture was taken in the NP Zuid Kennemerland looking over Duinmeer (the lake) into the distance isn't such a pretty picture. The lighthouse you can see is in Ijmuiden but the chimeys pumping out goodness knows what is over the Noordzee Kanaal from us is Velsen-noord and the steelworks.
I am glad to say that whrn you are in the NP you are usually shielded this view by woodland and the sandune system. Noord Holland 18-05-2012 |
