What a lovely moth. So nice to be able to see all the aspects like that with the open wings and just not the closed wings of the rest posisition.

Well done if you took the piccie of the moth on your own hand - not easy!

Hi Goosey, thanks This time the Moth was sitting on the hand of a travelling companion, but it's not really a problem if it is my own as my "gear" consists of only a point and shoot compact camera Actually, the images are quite bad, as it was dark and the critter was constantly on the move (had to keep some distance to be able to use the flash). Uploaded it anyway, because - as you remarked - it is nice to see the open wings Cheers, Arp
