Tiles in the kitchen of the Hospice Comtesse, Lille, France, 2008. Walls of these tiles with series of human and animal depictions (see second picture at http://www.theotherside.co.uk/tm-her...ee-hospice.htm ): one showing (apparently) people collecting snails (in the nearby marsh). Is there a special technique for this? Why the rods?
