I was watching Monty Don the other week in his series about world gardens and he was in Cuba. I think you were very lucky to see such flowers in a garden there, as so many gardens sole purpose was producing food. The gardens which grew flowers were the exception.

Hi goosey,
We went to two major gardens - the orchid garden at Soroa and the Havana Botanical Garden which was very impressive. The collection were arranged by continents and the whole thing is so vast we had to get from one area to another by mini-bus!
