This is the first time I have seen these flowers, there were only a couple though. They are one of the wildflowers which had almost died out in the area and one a reason why the large grazing animals like Konik horses and Highland cattle brought in to clear the ground, let light in and so the wildflowers would be able to grow again.

Beatiful flowers with such a horrid English common name - Bog star!
