Howdy Black, from old descriptions, the image in Biologia Centrali Americana (a male, yours would be a female) and comparison with Leptoscelis females of other species I would think that the Coreidae Leptoscelis quadrisignatus (Distant, 1881) is a fair guesstimate ? Cheers, Arp

Just stumbled on an image and comparative description in this PDF:

Brailovsky, H.; Barrera, E. (2011) Two new species of Leptoscelis from South America (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Coreidae: Leptoscelini). - Heteropterus Revista de Entomología, Vol.11(2), pp.195-199. ISSN: 1579-0681 PDF

Fantastic! Thanks Arp I hadn't heard of Biologia Centrali Americana before - great plates and a worthwhile undertaking by the Smithsonian and NHM making it accesible on the web.
