I think ladybird larva is quite amazing.

I was so surprised when I first found out that this would turn into a ladybird!!

Thanks Suzanne - I know what you mean, the first time I saw one in the garden I had no idea what it was and rushed off to the library to find out. You could have knocked me down with a feather when I did find out!
