Caught in the moth trap last year, I've always liked this group of spectacular moths!

This moth was slightly worn.

I'm with you, I really like these. The colouring and markings puts me in mind of Angleshades.

Thanks for posting all these Hawkmoths - apart from being all lovely, it will really help out with the moth numbers and variety in the insect gallery. You never know in the future we might have a seperate section for moths!

Thanks Goosey, I may start uploading some of my other moth shots soon. They're not quite as spectacular as the Hawkmoths, but they're all nice in their own way!
