You did well to see this! Amazing little things in the act of camouflage. Well spotted Ren.

Does anyone know if these can be found this far North or are they here but I just haven't got my eye in?

This one was fairly easy as it was in the fennel which I was scouring for tiny swallowtail instars. It was the only one I have found away from the potentilla.

I was told that there are some on Jersey and some in Devon.

Observations on Insectes.org are confined to the south and the west coast in France but these observations are not comprehensive.
