These Mushrooms are growing outside my garden, i am looking for an id please as my husband has threatened to eat them, i am aware some types of mushroom can be dangerous if eaten.

That looks like a Lepiota to me, Linda, with the ring on the stem. Hard to tell which one - and some of these are fatal!!

Thanks for that, i think i have convinced Hubbie not to eat them, some of these mushrooms LOOK so much like the ones from the market, i have only just been finding out about fungi thanks to this site, Lepiota
