Image 2. looks like Ramaria formosa! Apparantly it is found in large groups or "circles" in deciduous woodlands so I think you are spot on.
If you had only put image 3. the close up on I would have been hard pressed to say if it was the R. formosa or R. largentii which is found in pine and deciduous forests at higher altitude in mountainess areas. They look identcal externally.
