Self seeded plant for ID

I am sure this must be self seeded, I don't remeber planting anything here since the end of last summer because it wasn't there last year, if it was it must have been small under perennials.
Now it is large, the clump measures 47cm across. The largest leaf I could see was 13x12cm with hairy, flat topped stems with a curved underside , so a bit like a D on it's curve.

Does anyone have an ideas what it is?
Thanks.

Looks a bit like some of those North American (members of the Saxifragaceae?) plants such as Tolmiea, Heuchera, Elmera but leaves perhaps a bit too large? Could be one of those that you'll need to see in flower - brings a little excitement and suspense to the flower-bed!

I must admit, I thought it looked like honesty when you first posted it, but thought the leaves looked almost TOO big !!

I'll be interested to see the result though.

has it started to flower yet, Goosey ?

I ask, because ours are now a lovely splash of colour - and because I'm still curious.

No flower's yet, but there are big clusters of buds - so a bit more sunshine and we can see .

Here we are, some of the flowers have started to open today - I was hoping for purple but beggars can't be chooser's!
Actually as lovely as it is it is blocking out the light to the Echinops and Rudbeckia and I have cut away some of the large lower foliage.

Wow - I don't think I've ever seen a white honesty before !! If I have, I've probably assumed it was something else. Lucky you, Goosey - it's lovely.

This year I have another self-seeded honesty plant. This one is growing in a better place, more by luck than judgement. The first of the flowers have just opened today, they are purple! Last year I wanted purple and got white I expected white again .
Is this a common thing to happen with Lunaria that the flowers can be different than those which the seed came from?
