Unidentified yellow dune flower
I wasn't intending to write a post about this and just leave it in the gallery in the hope it would be identified. But after a comment about it, I have changed my mind  , and found a better image which shows much more structure of the plant.

I've commented on the pic that I think it's Lysimachia vulgaris. If so, I can get back to worrying about the fruity one .....

Mmmm - purple loosestrife is, I think, Lythrum salicaria not closely related to the yellow one! Also, in parts of North America it ( L. salicaria) is a seriously invasive weed!
