Unidentified shrub
Any suggestions on this self-seeded (originally) legume which grows easily in southern UK but, I'm fairly sure, is not a native.

There's a companion picture of the whole shrub (this one approaching 2m high).

It looks like some sort of Indigo - maybe Indigofera amblyantha - though there are several similar species
|

Thanks - that's interesting - I'll have another look next time I visit!
Shall have to find out how to make the dye .....
