Earth tremor in NL
This evening, 9pm there was a small earth tremor in The Netherlands - very unusual for us.
I knew nothing about it until my daughter rang from Hilversum where she felt it. Thousands of people rang the police but initial news is good with little or no damage.
It measured 4.5 on the richter scale but the epicenter seems uncertain, the news bulletin first said it was in Amersvoort, then Nijmegen and now Xantan in Germany.

That will be due to all those mountains subsiding .....
Can be distressing obviously - I've only ever suffered small ones but you always wonder what's coming next; awful to be near a serious one as we've seen several times recently. f
