Yes. Baby sharks are called pups. But like other cute baby animals, they can be referred to with a 'ling'. For all those who think they're cute, anyway... I'll try to look it up in the cute dictionary.

A shark's hunger can be satisfied with one good meal. The meal can last a long time because a shark uses little energy to swim. Some sharks hold food in their stomachs without it being digested. If they eat a big meal, it can last three or more months!

I've no idea - but dogfish are related to sharks and you'd expect them to have pups!

'Live Young'. The young go into their parents' mouths for safety, until they grow big enough to live on their own. But that's catfish... as for sharks:

Sharks are naturally curious. In the Pacific, when fisherman spear fish and hang them on a belt around their waist, sharks will nip off fishes from the belt. Others 'sniff' them, we're a rather weird kind, doncha know?

If I were hanging small sharks around my waist I would be worried about having more than some fishes nipped off ..... ouch .....
