Hello, I see you have already ID'd some fungi. I find fungi fascinating but am a newcomer to it and have to rely on others to help me with Identificion. It will be good to see some of your photo's in the gallery and give us the chance to learn more about them. The more new images in gallery the better. Welcome .

I'm very much a beginner too, but I know some of the commoner ones - that you eat This year there have been none as there was no rain until now. Trees died, especially willow. Now we've had 4 days non-stop rain, but everyone thinks it's too late now (?) Your photos encourage me to look again-
anyway got a bet on...

Yes, welcome ... your gallery of alpine/subalpine wildflowers is very impressive (and set to grow ) - particularly nice to have Latin-French-English names for cross-referencing!

Thanks for your welcome Paul m. Yeah, I think AOL is giving more space these days, so I can, perhaps, put more up. I'm hoping to get some help here with fungi and I've a feeling you're the expert.

Hello Eric
It's nice to see you here.
It's funny but I've never really noticed fungi around till now and like Goosey , I'm starting to find it all quite fascinating.
You'll have to let us know if the rain did come to late for them this year or if they managed to carry on regardless.
Anyway, looking forward to seeing you around the forums and galleries!!

Thanks Linda and Suzanne,
Been out today to my favourite mushrooms sites and, after 4 days of very heavy rain, not a sign of anything. I'll give it a few more days, but I think I'm too high up for this late in the season,
Eric
