Welcome - look forward to hearing more about Turkey (whereabouts?), it's a long time since I've been there. I see you've put up a lot of photos - thanks!

Hi Linda
It's nice to see you over here too!
I've never been to Turkey so look forward to learning more about the country and its wildlife.
I'm just off to the gallery now as I hear there are a few photos of yours for us to look at.
Anyway, Welcome and see you around the forums!!

It's great to see some new members who are contributing pictures to the gallery. I'd like to suggest that when people upload pictures they also send a forum message (linked to a picture) saying what the pictures were about ... Personally, I don't have time to run through each gallery every day so knowing there is something new in, for instance, 'Bird photographs' or 'Middle East photographs' might draw me to look there.
Equally, it gives you a chance to explain the background to the pictures - for instance Linda's storm pictures: why were there storms, how common are they in that part of Turkey, are questions I ask myself!
Not for every picture, perhaps, but ...... what do others think?

I think that is a good idea .
I love looking through the gallery, but I find it so frustrating when I click on an image because I am interested and want to find out more about it only to find there is no details at all.
