Well I'm new to this message board!!  As I spend some time abroad each year in southern Italy and Canary Isles I am interested in learning more about wildlife and conservation in these places. Also I am interested in worldwide conservation issues and anything to do with the planet and beyond...  |

Yes Paul I will put some info about Italy on your thread. And as for Tenerife, I love the place in spite of its terrible environmental destruction, its scenery, and plants and creatures are so different from anywhere else although can only fly there unfortunately. |

Not quite ... if you have a week to spare and more money than most, you can get to Tenerife by train and boat! 
How to travel by train from London to Spain:* Madrid, Barcelona, Seville...
