Hi Paul,
I am possibly going to Florida for a couple of weeks in July. I can't wait! Spectacular birds, butterflies, mammals, fish and insects. It should be amazing!
Are you going anywhere nice?

Watch out for the gators - I gather they're 'getting their own back' nowadays! Hope you have a good time and, for sure, that we see some good pics.

We're going to the Basque country and the Pyrenees ... probably ... we normally get the skeleton of our travels (ferries, major stopping sites) booked up by October but this year ..... I don't know Spain outside of Catalonia or the Pyrenees from the south-side so it's a major exploration for us!
Ironies of life .... most British people know a lot about Spain but nothing much of the rest of Europe. I'm the same in UK: quite widely travelled over England and Wales but only crossed the Scottish border once .... nothing against Scotland but time, expense and lack of sunshine have always sent me in the opposite direction!

Thanks Paul, I will watch out for gators, not to mention the black widows and snakes, all a bit worrying, especially as I'm often off the paths looking under rocks etc! Hopefully I will have some nice photos because my new DSLR arrived yesterday, just waiting for a good opportunity to use it. I'm worse than you because I rarely get out of Dorset except for Hampshire and Devon occasionally! I'm sure you will see lots In Northern Spain, it's a great wild place with wildlife everywhere you look!
