Hello :-)
Hello everyone I've just joined because I'm looking for an ID on a very exotic looking beetle seen in Borneo, and now I'm looking forward to reading all the posts on flora and fauna from around the world.

Thank you for the welcome, goosey. Alas, it was my daughter who has just returned from a month-long packbacking around Borneo and not me unfortunately!

My daughter's pics were mostly of the 'cute & cuddly' kind - orangutans (my fav animal) and proboscis monkeys (if you can call them cute with those strange looking noses!). Her boyfriend took far more varied pics of all the wildlife and fauna, including other insects, so I'll ask him to email me all his insect pics and then upload them here.
