hello from the Isle of Man
Well judging by some of the user names I've seen it seems like I'm amongst friends and have followed a well worn path!

Hello Barbara
And a warm welcome from me as well.
I'm just a choppy boat ride away from you in South Cumbria!! (although I've never been! )
It's lovely to have you here and I look forward to seeing and hearing more of what the I.O.M, (or Isle of Sam according to the BBC ) has to offer!
See you around!!
Suzanne

Thanks for the welcome.
Its rather noisy over here at the moment as the TT is just getting underway! That means hundreds of motorbikes! Some for the races but most to spectate. I live right on the course so that means that I either have to be out or at home before the roads close. Still there are some benefits before the bikes actually get to my house the roads are empty and so there's no traffic noise this means that the birdsong is easy to listen to. I think the robins and blackbirds appreciate this and sing all the more!

It definitely was amazing. I will post some here especially those where I haven't a clue what they are! How are you with butterflies!
