Do you read any digital photography magazines, and if so which ones? in the UK there are now lots of digital photography magazines, including ones from all over the world and so I was wondering, which ones you would recommend and why?

I'm in the UK and currently only read Digital Camera Magazine as it has good how to articles, competitions and is not 90% adverts although the advert percentage is slowly creeping up.

Many years ago I used to read Amateur Photographer and Practical Photography both of which still run but are so heavily laden with adverts these days.

I also subscribe to Digital Camera (but I always manage to miss the really cool 'subscription gifts' for some reason ). I also occasionally buy Digital Photo and I've just started reading Digital Photographer and Digital Photo Pro.

I'm going to sound like a party-pooper but I don't feel any need to read more about photography After a lifetime's experience with non-digital cameras I don't see that I'm going to learn much more - unless they start printing translations of Canon manuals which might be helpful
Paradoxically, the time when I would consult a mag would be if I were buying a new camera/lens &c in order to compare prices, check compatability &c..
