I always find the monthly reports from Nature Canada Preservation Conservation Endangered Species Canada interesting - good information, pretty pictures and practical ways to save the planet!

wow the snowy owl pictured is such a beautiful bird. You have to be dedicated to go out and be able to even press the shutter release in temperatures of -20 and below!

Quite so - I'm happy enough just looking at the picture ... not tempted to go out in that. Amazing how these birds and other animals can survive at that temperature.

As you said one has to be absolutely dedicated to brave those extreme temperature tell me do people for whom places where nature has given everything in abundance go to such places? I would personally love to explore places like these but I know my health conditions wont permit me. I can challenge the climate but then that wont be good for my health!!
