Not really, though there are more Halloween-like things in the shops in recent years.
Saying that though my daughter is going "Halloween swimming" tonight with her mates, I don't know what is going to be special about it, but it will be costing 3 euro's more than a usual entrance fee!

On 11th November we have something similar called Sint Maartin, little children (usually upto about 10-11 years old) make lamps at school and nursery and hang them on long sticks with a little bulb to light the lamps, then go door to door singing for fruit or sweets. This takes place between 6-8pm, its all in good humour (though a few rude song slip in with the older kids

) no trick or treating and frightening old people or an excuse for vandalism.
