Yes, I think I fall into the very kind option! I thought I may aswell do it as it was another horrid day and I did't get out, it didn't take much effort for a really kind person like myself!

Thanks, I don't like them so much as the old ones, but they were falling apart. I am just waiting to be able to wear them a bit more now, if it would just warm a bit again!

I hadn't thought about how busy it is now - I guess it is the usual dilema - encourage people to be interested in the countryside and then they are crawling all over it. Watched a BBC series last night - talked about ecotourism and the problems with introduced species on the Galapagos islands.

Where in Cumbria are you? I did the Coast to Coast in 1995 and 1996, and was last in Grasmere n 2004. Lovely area of course - I come originally from south Wales - different terrain!

Yes thank goodness, they are out! I began to think I would never have to hunt them out.
Mornings are still cold but once the sun gets going it's great!

No not me, quite yet though it is rather lovely weather here! I did see a funny sight which made every one smile in a shop this morning a man in a t-shirt, shorts and flip flops - talk about wishful thinking .
