    Hi Duncan
Sorry it's taken me so long to reply. (we've just got an allotment and are spending a lot of time there trying to sort it out and build a shed and the like.)
I must admit that it was always a childhood dream of mine to grow a bonsai tree from seed. I bought endless kits when I was young but think I must have either been unlucky or a bit short in the patience department. Anyway in the end and many years later we now have one courtesy of Morrisons! I'm not sure what type it is though.
Did you grow yours from seed or is there another method?
Your welcome about the comment on your BBC (that doesn't look right but I was trying to save on my typing .....didn't work did it ), it is a stunning and sharp shot.....definately professional standard and a pleasure to see!
    Suzanne

    H Suzanne,
My bonsai are all home grown, and stay outside all year round,
the only trees that people have indoors are trees that live in a warm climate and can't survive in our british climate,
I will make an album of my trees so everyone can see them and thank you for the comment on the Broad Bodied Chaser, I was thrilled that it sat there for so long

    Hi Suzanne,
About the brown widow spider, I had thought of the black widow because of the red marking on the ventral side (underside), but on the black widow it's hour glass shaped, I never gave it a thought that it would be the brown widow, and yes there were quite a few arround, there are not many spiders that can peirce human skin except where the skin is soft and thin and the venom can make you ill but seldom kills except in rare circumstances, but it is better to be wary and not take chances with the bigger ones,
    Duncan
