Bad year for butterflys, for sparrows, for insects. I have lived in Amsterdam,O for 40 years and watched as the breeding and nesting places for sparrows have been destroyed with no fore thought for the creatures who lived there. Brick upon brick they are sealing up all the natural areas that use to run charmingly toward wild. What to do?
