Big Cat Week

The BBC are running the Big Cat Week again this year and the first episode was on tonight. As usual, it's got some incredible footage of leopards, cheetahs, lions etc, and some really superb insight into their body language, territorial tactics and survival skills.

Definitely one to watch.

Stu

Big cat stuff

Yeah it's a good program. I have to say though, I'm not too keen on the 'continued next programme' editing! It's ok for fiction programmes, but not for wildlife documenaries in my opinion. I'm sure a lot of kids were upsett when they didn't know what would happen to little Toto the Cheeta cub! If you're going to watch the programme, you watch it. You don't need cliff-hangers to keep you interested.

Great hunting sequences though

Alan

Yes thats right, the BBC owes me for 2 boxes of tissues and several visits from a counsellor.

The Big Cat behind the scenes program on the box last night was great though don't you think, lots of laughs all round.

Great footage of the Cheetah pooing in the vehicle.

I'd love to suffer all that boredom they went through to get the footage.

I'd be thrilled to bits if a Cheetah pooed in my vehicle, It would be an honour
