Armadillo

I like armadillos but I didn't know there was a 'giant' one still surviving. Seems we're unlikely to meet one:

I was fortunate enough to capture some footage of possibly a giant armadillo (hard to tell), when I was carrying out a project in Brazil using a camera trap. They are certainly large animals.

Yes, that's certainly a substantial beast! Well done.

Not quite as large as one of its fossil relatives: Glyptodon - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia - a harmless vegetarian but you wouldn't want to be trodden on by it!
