I work in the Beaufort Sea in Northern Canada (Northwest Territories) as a marime mammal observer on occasion and local Inuvialuit guys we spoke to that hunted in the winter said that the Wolverines are big and pretty fearless. They would defend a carcass they were scavenging from a Polar Bear. (Think Hyena !).

They are here in Sweden too. I have only ever seen them in the zoo in Stockholm.
