Buddy best suited for the environment and Wildlife
We're thinking of getting a dog, but we'd like something that would not disrupt the natural wildlife--or chase after unsuspecting critters. Any ideas?
Atm we're considering a Lab, but I gotta brush up on my info on them.

I know little about dogs but know someone who does!
Something to consider would be one of the setters. These are bred to sit at heel until commanded to go. They are also bred to find birds &c without damaging them - therefore they're unlikely to go chasing after animals?

Yeah, we were considering a setter. But they're too independent and close minded ! Does anyone know/own a chesepeake bay retriever?
