I was looking for some sites to see if I could find out anything about some of the moths in Blacks images from Madagascar amd got side tracked by this fascinting article.

I never knew that birds had tears - although, on reflection, they must, like all vertebrates. But do they "cry" as such?

I just took it that they meant the natural moisture in the eye that keeps it clean - I never even thought of proper tears. Interesting thought though!
