Could this be Messor barbarus?

I'm a bit unsure if it is.
We have a lot of Messor barbarus in the area but is this it? Messor barbarus princess?

Photographed in arid area of southern Spain at the end of September.

Thanks !

Thanks.
Shows how little I know. I thought only females could have wings.
Can males of any ant species carry wings?

I don't know about "any species" - my knowledge is limited

..... but the males will mate with females on the wing and then die I guess.
