two moths for ID please

The first one I think is a hooktip-Drepanidae possibly Watsonalla Binaria the Oak hook tip.
The second I think is a hummingbird hawkmoth macroglossum stellatarum, though I have never seen one at rest before despite having many in the garden throughout the summer.

I'd go with Beautiful Hook-tip Laspeyria flexula for the first - and agree with the Hummingbird Hawk-moth - great shot!

Thanks Charlieb, - you are spot on.
How come that the Oak Hook-Tip and the Beautiful Hook-Tip are in different families (Drepanidae and Noctuidae)? Are there Hook-Tips in other families?

I think it's an example of convergent evolution - where two unrelated groups acquire the same trait - in this case both forming the "hooked-wing".

Of course the common name "hook-tip" implies no relation between the two - it's merely a description of the appearance.
