2 larvae for ID

1. This chunky chap was 4cm long, fat and feeding on Lonicera last night.

1.

2. This was a very thin larva and 1-1.5cm long (put me in mind of a Pug larva) and I found it last night on Foxglove foliage. Not so much detail sorry, but I hope there is enough .

2.

Thanks .

Hi Goosey,
Iv'e had a look on line on pug moth larvae for a good half hour but could not come up with anything else, I think you are right there though,
It looks like you are going to have to put them in a jar with some food and wait till they pupate, and see what hatches,
Duncan
