How did you get your urls to come out in this shortened form - I seem to get the whole url typed out ... ?

I went to the image, copied link location then used that in the web link popup.
Then I changed the text that appeared between the URL tags to be what I wanted as a shortened description.
If the BB image code was available when viewing the image from the gallery then I could just cut and paste this for use as an inline image. (how about it Stuart?)

I'm obviously being very slow here - how did you copy 'ink location' - from the browser (IE?) window?
I get the rest of it ....

Right clicked on the image for the option to "copy link location"

Incroyable! I had no idea of this facility (it's left click on my mouse because I've damaged my index finger!). Are there any other such 'tricks' that the uneducated forum-users might like to know about?

You can do the same thing with links, and open in new window, tab (firefox, etc), just see what options are available when you right click on something.
