Hi Jacqueline,
I've had a little look in my books and come up with, Sphingonotus caerulans 6-10mm, hind wing shows no black band and likes sandy places
now don't take that as gospel but itis a start,
If you can get a side on shot and one directly over the top it helps with the ID better,
If you look at the back of this one it shows a white line pinched in at the middle this helped to ID it.
Cheers
Duncan

Hi Duncan
You encouraged me to look again at the file that included the pix I posted and I found some more. Thanks.

Hi Jaqui,
I'm not having a lot of luck with this one, have to keep in mind that it's not in the UK, had another look , stout antennae, head conical, no stridulation,
3-9mm, try Pyrgomorpha conica

I'll looked at a number of images of Pyrgomorpha conica as I think you could be right. Here are a couple more images that I took on the same day in the same place.
Thanks for your assistance.

Hi Jaqueline,
I'm glad to help,
I hope someone comes on to confirm the ID though,
Duncan
