Moth for ID

Not from my garden I am afraid - but by water on a sandy bank in the NP. There were quite a lot flying from plant to plant during the day. (August 2008 Holland)
I thought at first it was a Small China-mark - Cataclysta lemnata, but the wings are too white and unpatterned compared to the ones I have compared it with.

I believe now that this is The Small China mark moth.

This is screaming out at me Silver Y - Autographa gamma, BUT to me it looks wrong can I have a confirmation one way or another please.

I agree the second one is a silver y.

Thanks H, as I said my instict said silver Y but the couloring of the Y looked wrong as did the the brownish red appearance - usually they seem much greyer. The tufts were also much more prominent. But the Y shape was wrong for the golden Y species. I just wanted to be sure for myself, I think perhaps this was just a very fresh moth

Any thoughts on the first moth?
