Couple of French Moths for ID

Goosey are you out there? I know you're into Moths. Anyone any ideas what these two Moths may be? Spotlighted on a hedge in the evening, southern France

Hi black,
No 1. looks similar the "Beauty's" Great Oak Beauty or Willow Beauty - but as usual the are so variable its a nightmare.

This is a useful site when you have plenty of time to trawl through it . Sorry I can't be more helpful .

Thanks for the link looks like a very comprehensive site indeed, great photos By the looks of it I will need a few days + serious amounts of coffee to go through all the moths though

For the first one my guess would be a Willow Beauty - Peribatodes rhomboidaria, although I don't know whether there are other similar species in France!
The second looks like a Plumed Fan-foot - Pechipogo plumigeralis
