Another larva ID needed please.

This little thing was in the giant globe alliums, it wriggled a few times as I tried to get a better picture, then I noticed another one right at the bottom of the same leaf where they come out of the bulb. It was about 1cm long. Any ideas what it could be?

A rather strange looking larva and I know there are several flies whose larvae attack Allium spp.. This 'onion maggot' looks similar to yours?

Yep - afraid so, but I only have the 5 I planted in the autumn and they have flowered. It is the first time I have had them, I always see them at the Chelsea flower show and thought they looked quite impressive and the insects like them.
