Organic Farming
how much of your food is currently sourced from organic farms? About two or three years ago, I would have been surprised if it was as much as five to 10%.
I can even remember the day when they put an organic section in the local supermarket, and most people thought it was a nice idea, but that it probably wouldn't get any bigger than about 3 m of shopping space.
However, wherever possible, I now by organic food, without even thinking about it. Fruit and vegetables, milk, cereals, breadetc are just some of the items that I buy, but I could soon see that within a few years it will be almost everything.

We buy organic products whenever money allows as it's both better for the environment and healthier...not only this but for the most part it seems to operate fair trade systems for its production.

Organic food is known to contain 50% more nutrients, minerals and vitamins than produce that has been intensively farmed. Pls take some advantages of Organic food and live healthy life. With a bit of research you should be able to find local stores who stock organic produce.

agricultural fertilisers
This is about the oldest bit of news I've seen:
BBC NEWS | Science & Environment | Fertilisers 'reducing diversity'
 ... but worth noting ... again ....
We know that farmers dumping loads of fertilisers into the soil (and water systems) do an enormous amount of damage to the ecosystem but smaller amounts of 'fertilsation' can have similar effects: people (dead ones) having their ashes scattered over beauty spots are actually contributing to the death of rare species ... ironic really .....
