That one of the major causes of global warming are cars. If you want to go to some place that-is-not-too-far-for-you-to-be-able to-use-your-FEET-to-arrive-to, just WALK.

or, if you're planning a reunion or something... just rent a van or a car for all the participants instead of going there with each one of you using cars.

carpool!

Quite right too. Walking is good exercise, saves you money and saves the planet but also it keeps you in touch with nature - you can see at closehand all the flowers and insects wherever you walk!

One of the problems is that it's a very complex subject and attempts to simplify (or "dumb down") the causes and effects only creates confusion. One of the dubious areas has been the effects, if any, of climate change on storms. This work suggests seems to have made some sense of it:
BBC NEWS | Science/Nature | Warming boosts strongest storms
Strong storms will get worse but weak storms will be unaffected .....

Hey I found this great video on Global warming.
YouTube - The Great Global Warming Swindle - Produced by WAGTV

Earth's temperatures are rising without a doubt. It is because of emission of so much CO2. Deforestation is also might be the reason for Global warming.

Yes, there are lots of reasons for the acceleration in climate change - humans are creating more carbon dioxide from factories, cars and planes and methane from cows; but at the same time they are destroying carbon sinks (that would soak up moderate excesses of greenhouse gases) such as forests and peat bogs.
So correcting the problem (if that is still possible) needs to be done on several fronts, not haphazardly .....
