4 Borneo moths species on the move

I have borrowed this article (I did ask first ) so for those who have seen it on WAB I apologise but I wanted to share it with the non WAB members.
Climate change pushes moths up mountain | Natural History Museum
I found the whole article interesting but very worrying, with the evidence of climate change and that four species moths in Borneo have moved 67m higher up Mount Kinabalu than they were 42 years ago to compensate, looking for cooler areas. What will happen when they get to the top and there is nowhere cooler to go! This is going to have a knock on effect of course, with the bats and birds that eat the moths and larvae, and what eats the bats and birds etc etc......
Good news, when so much bad come from Borneo on the conservation front, is the mountain is conservation area - Sabah State Park and the area could become a climate refuge for species living lower on the mountain.
