Smile An Interesting Question...

An interesting question...

'If someone suggested putting all the world's wildlife on a secure Island away from human disturbance and safe from persecution, habitat destruction and global warming at the cost of us never seeing another wild creature again to ensure their safety from extinction, would you agree?'

Please put aside our need for them in terms of pollination etc.

What a thought!
I would hate not to hear any birds or see any wildlife (they keep me sane in this world) – so from a personal and selfish perspective I hate the thought of them being all out of harms way.
(However - I like to think that they could be safe from man and pollution. But just think of the space they would need to accommodate them all, and all the diverse habitat specifications they would need, the ideal place would be planet Earth – so it might have to be us humans all shipped off to an island!)

No, I agree. It was just an unrealistic, thought provoking one.
