Please help us with Reforestation of Endangered tree species of Brasil

We realize there are many great organizations that need your help. However, it's our belief if we are to protect endangered animals and fight global warming, we must first preserve their habitat and the Rainforests. Deforestation is one of the main causes for extinction of many animal species. It is also believed to be the main cause for Global Warming. We are in a desperate situation to preserve our planet. It will take a united effort and great sacrifice by the few who really care to cover for those who simply don't care or even believe our planet is in Peril.

Though Brasil is believed to contain some of the last large remaining reserves of Rainforests, it is under attack. There are already many tree species on the highest level of the Endangered List. Our main focus is on Dalbergia Nigra (Brasilian Rosewood) which is now on the highest threat of CITES Appendix I list. Although this is not our only focus. We are targeting 6 species that are most endangered for our project.
  • Dalbergai Nigra
  • Pau Brasil
  • Jequitiba Rosa
  • Mahogany
  • Cedro Rosa
  • Imbuya
These 6 species are highly endangered. We have a good foundation and solid plan that can make a huge difference in the survival rate of these trees. But we desperately need help. Although we need money to continue our work...we realize not everyone can contribute monetarily. However, there are other ways you can help if you choose to. Bringing awareness to our project would be of great service to us. This can be most beneficial in getting the attention of those who share our vision and maybe reach a few who do have the conditions to help us in a big way.

Our associate Francismar F.A. Aguiar (Director of Botanical Research in Sao Paulo, Brasil) has been trying to bring attention to his work for over 30 years.
With little result. He doesn't speak english (only portuguese) and this has made it difficult for him to bring awareness to the situation he has been fighting in Brasil. We have joined his fight and are the english speaking voice for this project. We are making progress but, desperately need help to make a real difference.

Our hope is you will visit our website and see what we are doing. We are in a position to make a huge impact on these endangered trees but, we can't do it alone.
Dalbergia Preservation

I see a lot of passion for nature on this forum and that is exactly what we need. People who care. We welcome any help, comments or suggestions. Thanks for your passion and keep up the good fight.
