A List of Extinct Animals
This is going to be a very big list, but I thought we could maybe try and build a list of extinct animals. Eventually we'll have to break it down into sections, but to start the ball rolling:
Wooly Mammoths - Hairy elephants that lived during the ice age
Megalodon - A very large shark
Dodo - a flightless bird from islands in the Indian Ocean
Sabre-toothed Cat - Large tiger-like cats that lived during the ice age.
Megatherium - A giant sloth that lived during the ice age.
