These were not found in my usual hunting grounds but on the island of Texel. The substrate where I found the three of them was sandy and mossy but on a flood plain and very marshy when we visited - prone to flooding of the sea. No tree's around.
The insides were velvety but the outside was more rubbery and granular.
I should think a Peziza but which?
