Tiny earthstar

I have never seen such a small or pale earthstar, it only measured 22mm across.
I found it directly under beech, though its mainly a pine area. There were the small Geastrum fimbriatum a few meters away, is this also a Geastrum fimbriatum?

That is small for fimbriatum but it certainly looks like it. Not knowing how they develop it might just be one of the smaller species before it takes on its more recognisable form.

I checked on this yesterday and after 5 days there was a small amount of ageing, but nothing major. I believe that it is just a very small Geastrum fimbriatum.
