Poor me!
I took a wander to a favourite haunt where I spend alot of my Autumn fungi hunting. There is a place just meters from a path with old tree stumps, fallen trees and a large dump area of wood from years ago. I have found some great things there in the past like my first ever stinkhorns, the beautiful Pluteus leoninus, Pluteus umbrosus, Mycena pura, yellow russulas, and earth stars just to name a few.
I hadn't been there for quite a while and it has all changed - the boundary from a hotel which bordered the path has now officially increased, over the path plus a bit, and things have been shifted or completely cleared to make room for e new footpath right through my fungi area!!!!
