Lucky you being able to get out and find some fungi! I haven't been able to get out for 3 weeks with the intention of looking for fungi because of snow and ice

No1. Did you notice that the gills leaked a milky white substance (Latex)? If so They could be Orange Milkcaps - Lactarius auraantiacus. I can’t think of much cap fungi around at the moment but I did see these at the beginning of December.
No2. Tricky! Looking at the colour, I would think maybe one of the Gymnopilus?
Nothing to do with the fungi but the thorny stems on the ground look interesting and is that a nut I see in No1? What sort of trees/plants produce these?
